I know this post is a bit late but I'm getting to it now. As you all may know I Celebrate my 28th birthday on Wed. 16 Sept. It was a great day. Jarrett was working the night shift the night before. When he got home at 11:58, he immediately came to the room, turned on the lights and woke me up seconds before it turned 12:00 (10 seconds to be exact). He shoved a musical birthday card in my face while I was half a sleep and said, "kathy hurry up and open it" so I did. The card was counting down 10 seconds before my bithday, it was so funny. It was one of those laughing hesterically ones that talk so fast you can't hardly understand them. Leave it up to Jarrett to do something like that.
Later that night we went to the Madem Toussaud Wax Museum, something I've always wanted to do here in Vegas. We had a really fun time meeting all the Celebs. It really did feel like they were there with you in the room. Everytime I turned around I ran into someone.
Soon after that we went to dinner at Maggianos on the strip. Great place to eat but it had to have been the l o n g e s t sit down place I've ever been to. All in all it took us 3 hours to get and eat our food, not to mention the half hour that we waited just to get our check. While in the meantime I was worring about the babysitter, seeing that we would be arriving home around 11:30pm. I felt so bad because it was not suppost to be that late, not to mention it was a school night. Thanks Jeannie!! I owe you one.
